Is this a timeshare?
A common question. Ownership with Casera is not a timeshare.
Imagine buying a holiday home with a small group of friends. You own a portion of the property’s value, while sharing the costs and use.
Collection ownership follows the same principle, with ownership extending across three homes rather than one. Casera brings together a vetted group of like-minded owners who share the costs and use of the homes, while managing the process on their behalf.
With a timeshare, the property is owned by the operator; you only own the right to use it. With Collection ownership, the properties are fully owned by you and the other owners. Casera delivers and manages the homes but holds no ownership interest in them.
Unlike a timeshare, Collection ownership with Casera provides real equity.

How much time do owners within a Collection have across their three homes?
With 13 owners sharing 3 homes, ownership is designed to support up to 12 weeks of annual use across the Collection. Usage is balanced through a seasonally weighted points system, with most owners typically using the homes for between 8 and 12 weeks annually depending on when they choose to travel. Owners prioritizing only peak periods may receive even fewer weeks, while those traveling more flexibly throughout the year may, in some cases, spend more than 12 weeks annually across the homes by prioritizing lower-season and last-minute bookings.
If the three homes within a Collection are close in proximity, what is the benefit of owning in each location?
Owning within a Collection provides variety while remaining rooted in one region.
Together, the homes offer the ease of the coast, the depth of a historic city, and the quieter rhythm of the mountains. Each destination is within a two-hour drive, yet ownership across all three allows for extended time in every setting, rather than passing through.
Over time, Andalusia becomes not just a place you visit, but a home you return to, with variety in how you spend your time.
Do I need to move between homes during a holiday stay?
No. Owners can book extended stays in a single home, typically between 2 and 4 weeks, and in some cases longer.
The only exception is the Beach Home during summer, when demand is highest and booking guidelines are designed to give all owners the opportunity to enjoy time there.
Once all owners have had the opportunity to secure their preferred extended stays, the booking platform provides greater flexibility to combine stays across two or all three homes within a single trip, depending on availability.
