Alma is Casera’s booking platform, designed for flexibility, ease of use, and fair access for all owners within a Collection.
How it works:
A Points Based System
A flexible, seasonally weighted system designed to give each owner clarity and choice when planning time across the Collection. Peak travel periods require more points, while more flexible seasons require fewer. Each home’s calendar is structured around its location and seasonal rhythm, ensuring balanced access for all owners throughout the year.
With 13 owners sharing 3 homes, ownership is designed to support up to 12 weeks of annual use across the Collection. Depending on travel preferences, owners will typically enjoy between 8 and 12 weeks annually, with peak season travel yielding fewer weeks and more flexible travel periods allowing for longer stays and additional time across the three homes.
with Structured Booking Rounds
Structured booking rounds give all owners the opportunity to prioritize the weeks that matter most. Rather than operating on a first-come, first-served basis, points are released in stages, ensuring each owner has the chance to secure preferred time before the next round begins.
The system is designed to prioritize longer stays within a single home, allowing owners to settle in and enjoy extended time without needing to move between properties. With the exception of the Beach Home during the summer months, stays of 3 to 4 weeks within one home are supported during booking rounds.
In some cases, even longer stays may be possible by building on a booked stay as booking rounds progress, depending on availability.
Once these stays have been secured across all owners, additional flexibility allows stays to be combined across two or all three homes within a single trip, subject to availability.
allowing Advanced Planning
Alma makes it easy to plan holidays well in advance while also accommodating bookings closer to travel. Booking rounds open a year in advance, giving owners the ability to plan 12–23 months ahead. If your schedule isn’t set during booking rounds, your points remain available for later use, with access to the weeks still open at that time.
and Spontaneous Holidays
Because Collection homes are reserved exclusively for owner use and never rented out, Alma makes spontaneous getaways simple. If a home is available within 30 days of travel, you can reserve it without using points, whether for an additional holiday week or a last-minute stay.
with Built-in Flexibility
Thoughtful flexibility ensures fair use for all. If plans change, the system returns your points in full when cancellations are made with sufficient notice. A built-in waitlist gives priority to other owners interested in that week, helping ensure homes are enjoyed whenever they are available.
and The Ability to Gift Time
Gifting time allows owners to share unused weeks with family and friends. When you can’t use all your points, they can be passed on so those closest to you can enjoy your homes. Guests have access to Casera Concierge during their stay, along with the reassurance of a property manager just a phone call away.
